Some people in your life , you just end up fading. Distance is hard , and communication gets rough when far away. All you have are memories, and reminiscent history to ponder with someone you love. You just wonder if they feel the same way, if they think about you. You wish you could go back to the first time you met, or that period where you were together. Love is strong and feels good when received, but it also can hurt when the person you love isn’t with you.

Theres things I should’ve said, places we should’ve gone, and conversations I wish we had. 

But I let you go , you got away, and now I’m holding on to the past hoping you’d return someday . 

But truth hurts and truth is - you’re happy where you are , without me, so I don’t know why I’m still waiting.
