Well, this is my acoustic cover of Tame Impala's "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards". This song is one of my all time favorites and it reminds me of... someone. Tried to add some Lana Del Rey-ish falsetto at the end of the song, hope that'd be okay.. Recorded live with my iPod Touch.

First time I listened this song is about 2 months ago, from the local radio. I instantly fell in love with it, without knowing who the singer is. It 80% sounds like my favorite band ever, SORE, but with different vocal.
A few days later I listened to the same song on the same radio, and then it revealed that the singer is Noh Salleh. I Googled him and listened to his other songs and his band, Hujan.

It takes such a struggle to get his EP, 'cause it's very rare here in Indonesia. The EP is so damn good it hurts. I literally (like, LITERALLY) can't hold my tears of joy when I listened to "Gelung" for the first time. Definitely one of the best albums of 2014.

Well, here's my acoustic cover of bang Noh's "Angin Kencang", hope you like it.

Pertama kali saya tahu Marsh Kids adalah ketika saya iseng membuka Twitter seorang Ade Firza Paloh, musisi yang sangat saya kagumi karya-karyanya bersama SORE. Saat itu, MK baru saja merilis single pertama mereka, "Inclination".

Beberapa bulan kemudian, MK merilis album perdananya, "The Many Failings of Bugsy Moonblood". Mereka juga merilis lagu mereka yang berjudul "Molly May", dan saya langsung jatuh cinta. Di saat itu, saya penasaran sekali dengan lagu-lagu MK, namun karena uang jajan saya belum cukup, saya urungkan niat untuk membeli album mereka.

Akhirnya, setelah beberapa bulan saya lupa untuk membeli TMFOBM, saya singgah ke toko CD di salah satu mall di Medan hanya untuk sekedar cuci mata. Akhirnya, saya dipertemukan oleh CD TMFOBM, yang konon tinggal satu. Bahagia tak terkira, akhirnya saya beli juga.

TMFOBM adalah album Indonesia favorit saya sampai sekarang ini, mulai dari musiknya, packagingnya, sampai bookletnya. Sudah tiga bulan ini saya nyetir, tidur, nyantai di genteng rumah ditemani oleh lagu-lagu MK. Masih tidak bisa move on. :')
