The Book of Four Beasts is a prophetic reggae-dub chronicle sung by the female voice of The Shaken Remnant. Across four symbolic Ages—the Lion, the Calf, the Human, and the Eagle—the album tells the rise, radiance, unraveling, and fall of a short-lived empire. Each Beast shapes the music through its own consonant-driven “language,” creating four distinct sound-worlds that evolve as the story moves forward. Heavy modern dub, warm Afro-reggae textures, mythic imagery, and cinematic atmospheres come together to form a unified vision: kingdoms rise, kingdoms fall, but a remnant walks forward into a new morning.

Dancing in the Sound Factory, End-Up, Ice Factory, Mayan, Orbit, the Cat Club and the underground of LA. I threw undergrounds in downtown Los Angeles and ran a legal warehouse for four years. This is my beginning. It will never end.
