First heard at Above & Beyond’s annual Miami Music Week party at the Old RC Cola Plant way back in 2017, ‘Hideaway’ emerges from the shadows, a fitting title for an elusive set opener from the globetrotting trio of Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and Paavo Siljamäki.

Teasing the masses once more, Above & Beyond opened their storied Group Therapy 250 set at The Gorge with ‘Hideaway’. The track subsequently became a regular feature at arena shows across the UK and US during the band’s record breaking ‘Common Ground’ tour. An assertive, cavernous, melodic burner that perfectly set the tone for a very big night of dancing in a very big room.

2018 came and went, still no release! The keyboard detectives on the band’s official Reddit theorised and extrapolated potential reasons. Then comes Anjunabeats Volume 14, the band’s popular two-disc compilation series. There’s ‘Hideaway’, sitting alongside another brand new A&B original, ‘Anjunafamily’.

Now, finally, the band present the full length, extended, ready-to-play mix of ‘Hideaway’, a moody piece of instrumental perfection from the world’s favourite UK dance trio, just in time for the forthcoming season of winter raves in black rooms.

Featuring three records that have soundtracked Above & Beyond milestone Group Therapy celebrations over the decade, Jono, Paavo and Tony close 2019 with the ‘Out Of Time’ EP. 

A sought after fan favourite, debuted during ABGT100 live from Madison Square Garden, ‘Out Of Time’ was the final track finished for 2015’s ‘We Are All We Need’. While the club rework has percolated among A&B mixes over the last 5 years, the remastered extended mix and edit are now available for the first time.

Another record that has evolved throughout its life time, ‘Is It Love?’ first aired during ABGT200 in Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome as the instrumental ‘1001'. With Jono himself providing a 80’s indie-electronica vocal for the track's appearance on ‘Common Ground’, the ‘Is It Love?’ club mix has become a euphoric moment in the trio's sets since 2017. 

Completing the package is the return of an iconic Richard Bedford vocal, played first at Group Therapy 250 and then featuring on this year's Anjunabeats Volume 14 compilation, the Gorge Update of Above & Beyond ‘Alone Tonight’.

Last seen on the label with his ‘No Words EP’ in 2018, London-born producer Mat Zo has earned a reputation over his career as one of the most innovative minds in the electronic scene. Man. This one has been a long time coming. Nick (Varien) was maybe my first real good friend in EDM. He showed me the ropes before anyone. In the eight or so years I’ve known him, there have been few people who I’ve shared more ideas with. ⁣

People always asked when we’d make a song together. We always knew it wasn’t something we’d want to force. Recently I was working on a remix for Nick when I realized it was getting so far off track that maybe it would be cool to turn it into an original collab. Boom. Revelation was born. ⁣
