The idea of doing a latin boss nova thing in 7/4 came early. The very first idea was the piano intro and then things fell into place from there. I would call this my "GRP" tune on the record because it reminds me of the two jazzy holiday releases that GRP came out with in the 80s and 90s, and specifically a latin arrangement of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" by Dave Valentin. The Coventry Carol (Excerpt)

This is a song I composed around 2012 with my friend Erich Gruber, who played the guitar. The rest is all sequenced using a bunch of my production goodies. This wound up getting placed on a few TV programs, most notably, Jerry Seinfeld's "Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee", specifically the episode with Don Rickles, "You'll Never Play The Copa". (Yes, that was my first dangling participle.)

Savannah Hayes was a rock/fusion band formed in 1978 in the San Francisco Bay Area, consisting of John Robertson "Bobby" Foster on drums, Bob Britt on guitars, Brian Vanoli on bass and Kelly Carpenter on keyboards and lead vocals, all of whom were in their very early 20's at the time.  This collection of originals exhibit their unique blend of jazz fusion and rock.
