Inspired by a Chinese Sci-Fi Quarterly magazine found in her local library, Wild Grass is Kelly’s tribute to living, loving and coming of age in China as revealed through these stories and others.

In particular Chan Koonchung - The Fat Years (Remember Me, Lost Good Hell, All That’s Gained), Yang Ping - Chronicles of the Mountain Dwellers (Infinite possibilities), Liu Cixin - 4/1/2018 (Century Sleep), Lu Xun - Wild Grass & Madman’s Diary (Wild Grass, Dangerous Visions, Lost Good Hell), Meng Chao - Li Huiniang (All That Seems) and American poet Edgar Allan Poe - Dream within a Dream.

The finished work reflects her close collaboration with producer Aidan Roberts.
