Everyone wants to be perfect and looking for a perfect life. And then when they finally find it, i´ts still not perfect enough. Today, humans have greedy souls and hidden eugenics fascism. The universe is not perfect, and neither is the world nor humans.

So what the meaning of perfect ? Is it about comfort/pragmatic in life or
is it about soul? There is no such thing as the perfect life, human, or time.
There is just a - our own natural happiness - without smart plans and the opinion of others.

This is an ode to my lost usb at Burningman 2024. I played 6 or 7 slots, booked a couple people and recorded all of it. 

Burn night, took two USBs out, left the main USB on our dear Axo art car, got distracted and it was never to return. Hiding, lost, whatever. We grow through action, rest and letting things go. 

One night after returning home, still feeling dusty and in a reflective mood, I hit record and kept going, with the intention of roughly tracking the songs that I played from sunset to sunrise. This is it. 

One take, no planning. Following the energy of those distinct parts of the day into night and into day again. Music burn has been brewing for me over the years and amongst everything else that happened, it finally landed in 2024. 

Connecting with the playa and my nearest and dearest through music has always been the anchor of my experience at the burn and the opportunity to do so much of that behind the decks this year was a gift. I hope you enjoy it.

NTy @ SynCity - Thursday Night - Underland 2024

I'd never played in the dome before but have heard so much great music there and it holds a unique place in Australian Burning Man culture....so I was pretty nervous especially leading up to midnight on burn night! It was great to play with Chaux and Emma who I spent so much time building the Wonky Queenslander community with. Thanks to Chaux and Ali for the opportunity and Finn, Nick and Benji for turning off Coco so that everyone walked in just at the right time. It was special to see so many faces I love smiling and dancing. There's some favourite tracks from previous Wonky parties in Meanjin/Brisbane, some stuff I've gleaned from Syncity sets in the past and some great new stuff.

Wonky Queenslander Burn Night @The Dome Underland 2024

Beyond excited to play my first set in the legendary dome. Friday night vibes in the dome were HIGH and I cannot be grateful enough to the Syncity crew for having me and seriously bringing the most epic dancefloor energy. It was pure magic and I was also excited to bring a darker, dancier flavour to my selection.

Following an uproarious Cocolympics in the paddock, Coco Poco Loco's party continued in to the evening with the Effigy burning and wind ravaging. After the burn and some on-point sets, as cocktails flowed from the Coco bar, this was the closing set from around 9-10:30pm. Vibes were high. Legends were in abundance. Joy and dancing reigned. <3
