I was asked to help create this track to celebrate Joan and Lee who were college sweethearts and, just as the song says, the uncoupled because of outside pressures & demands. Reunited over 40 years later, they are back together and getting married.  Such a sweet love story, I am grateful to have been apart of this project

This is a mix of cover songs and original songs that I recorded probably 17 years ago. I am forever grateful to my good friend (and lovely poet) Adrienne S Wallner, for always encouraging me to make and share my music.  She has listened to this on CD for all these years...and on a visit here in 2024, we dumped that CD into the computer and uploading it online.  Enjoy this time capsule.  
Recorded on my Mac laptop with GarageBand and only the built-in microphone....I think it sounds pretty damn good

Processing my own grief and challenges with motherhood, I imagine a worse case-scenario about what happens if a young girl runs away? How does one get into these situations?  It seems to me that trauma rolls downhill...it can be contagious...and here, I purge these feelings through the soundwaves

These songs were all written and recorded between November 2008 and June 2009. I recorded on my mac using Garageband and as I learned about recording through trial and error, I tried different recording equipment throughout the project but tried to keep the sound as consistent as possible. Toward the end of the project, Ryan Meyer was a huge help! He became my recording engineer right when I was beginning to loose my drive and helped me finish and meet my deadline! He also help find the Artwork for the cover which is by Jared Senn. (will upload later)

"Trying to Forget" & "Wash Away" were written in collaboration with Adrienne Wallner as well as "Fall" which was actually a poem Adrienne wrote several years before in high school.

I had a lot of fun doing this project! It was therapy and I hope you find it enjoyable.
