With a career spanning several careers—including one in music, one in radio and another he doesn’t fully recall—Eric Chase has done just about everything in audio and production over the last 30 years, sometimes on purpose.
He began as an advertising sensation whose career in advertising ended suddenly—the day he graduated with an advertising degree. He then spent the next decade honing those advertising chops.. by playing guitar. And singing and stuff. 
But Chase is most well-known for creating over 400,000 annoying noises (including over 17,000 fart sounds alone!) over the course of three decades in radio production, and his “work” has smelled up the airwaves first on stations like WEBN, WFLA, WFLZ, then on countless others via Premiere Radio and the magic of “syndication”, which to this day he still doesn’t even pretend to understand.
Evidently his stuff is on a bunch of stations somewhere. Go figure.
He’s produced theme songs, TV show intros and co-produced a live version of “War of the Worlds” with Glenn Beck. Yeah, that guy. Other stuff too. But it hurts Eric’s brain to think too hard about all that these days.
Bottom line—no matter what form of media he’s working in, Eric Chase thrives on pushing creative boundaries, and is now being sued in federal court for assault by attorneys for several of those boundaries.
He still idolizes John Frost, especially his Game of Thrones metaphors.
He leaves behind two boys, one dog, and a parrot who barks like a dog. … wait, just for this trip I mean—Eric’s not dead yet. Sorry for the confusion.

In May 2025, Eric Chase will be awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award from The Imaging House® along with John Frost and Jeff Thomas for their contributions To radio imaging.
