Elliot Moriarty has been enamored with dance music from a very young age, gradually transitioning from DJing at local parties to global events like ADE. Undoubtedly, much of his rise can be attributed to his breezy productions on labels like The Soundgarden. Consider the 2023 release "By My Side” (Songuara), which reached number 1 on the Beatport Organic House chart. It's a light and effervescent tune, brimming with optimism. That energy is also bristling in ‘Balance’, a track he produced exclusively for this Balance Selections mix. And with the troubling times we find ourselves in, his unabashed cheerfulness is a breath of fresh air. Today as we kick off a five week tour of England, we are focussing on a wide variety of DJs and artists, all compiled with the idea to expand your outlook on the scene we love. Kicking it all off, a veteran DJ and music producer from Jersey, this is Denis J!

Emerging from the picturesque shores of Jersey in the Channel Islands, Denis J has been a driving force in the electronic music scene since the early 1990s. Influenced by the pioneering sounds of The Sunday Club, Human Movement and Seafield, three clubs all local to the island.  

Denis J's journey into the realm of DJing began in 1994 when he first embraced the turntables and was entranced by the hypnotic allure of house music. He immersed himself into the vibrant dance culture of the era and  quickly honed his craft, drawing inspiration from the melodic rhythms of Progressive House. Holding a Residency for four years at the Venue nightclub, he crafted a unique sonic signature that resonated deeply with audiences.

Denis J has remained committed to pushing the boundaries of electronic music, constantly evolving his sound while staying true to his roots.

April’s edition come from Edu Schwartz. 

With undisputed skill and consistency in performances, Edu earned great recognition in the Brazilian electronic music scene, ensuring his presence at considerable events and festivals, as well as a desired residency at the infamous Warung Beach Club. 

A successful DJ, Producer and now label head of Words Not Enough, this year has started very well. Edu has released on labels such as Circle of Life, The Purr, Roaming Leaves, Desert Hut, and Keyfound Records – all equally well respected imprints, showing that his sound is trusted by many.

This is a truly wonderful mix from Edu, presenting his new alias Duo State. We’re thrilled that he has joined the LOST / CAST family!

Eamonn Gallagher From Ireland brings his wealth of musical knowledge to KeltIk with years experience from running his own record shop and was well known in the local scene for promoting dedicated club nights, booking and supporting major acts.
Now residing on the gold coast he is engaged in the local Dj and Promoting scene.

Michael Hone also a native from Ireland has years of experience between DJing, promoting to running his own pirate radio station broadcasting regularly to try and get his Djing style to more like minded people of electronic music, now living In Brisbane after playing a few gigs Michael has teamed up with Paul And Eamonn to form KeltiK.
