This lost little gem was recorded on Christmas Day way back in 1993 and it has the tape hiss to prove it. It was done with a 303, a 707, and Roland S-50 sampler and a very dirty digital delay pedal. This was the last thing I did with my 303 before selling it for rent money. Ah, youth.

I got a new Yamaha CS10 and I thought I'd make a little song using nothing but this machine. All sounds including drums came from this lovely machine. Sequencing by Korg SQ-1. Effects and processing in Logic and Ozone 7.

The theme to Escape From New York is one of my all-time favorites. This is my version of the theme. It was done almost entirely with hardware (the beats are Linn Drum samples and it was processed in Logic and mastered in Ozone). Hardware includes Korg Minilogue, MS-20 Mini, and DW-8000, Roland HS-80 (aka Alpha Juno 2) and JU-06, and Yamaha TX81z and CS-10. Thanks for listening.

Kemek (aka Kemek the Dope Computer aka Deeper Than Space) has been kicking around the electronic music scene since the early '90s. His first releases were on Silent Records, the legendary San Francisco ambient label, as part of The 303 Terrorists. Three full-length Deeper Than Space albums followed. In 2001 Kemek got back into music production, this time as Kemek the Dope Computer, releasing a string of nu-skool breaks 12" singles and remixes. Kemek continues to work in a variety of genres and has releases on Muti Music, Architects + Heroes, and his own Dope Computer Music.
