Kemone (born Kemone Simone Bartley, is a Jamaican singer, rapper, songwriter. After being told by her father at age 12 to do something productive with a pen she was doodling with or have it taken away, she wrote her first song. She has written over 200 songs since in multiple genres such as pop, hip hop, country and r&b. 
She started singing in church at 8 years old and at 14 she decided she wanted to add rap to her musical style after listening to one of her older brother's songs and old hip hop cds. 
Kemone is the youngest of 11 children born to her parents Eulalee and Logan Bartley in St. Catherine, Jamaica. Her father has played an important role in driving her music career. 
Kemone has been independently working on her music career since leaving high school in and is a self produced artist who is now focused on being the next big thing.
