We're gonna move to South America in a couple of days and since today it is also my birthday, I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to give away my new mixtape which I named (matching to our situation) "La Despedida" (farewell).
I included some very emotional tracks in this set and I hope that every single person out there who is gonna listen to my farewell gift is also able to feel what I'm trying to convey...

Of course my project will keep going the only difference will be that in the future I will have another post address and a new environment that hopefully will be influencing my creativity in a positive way. Most likely I might also shed some tears but heaven knows we never need to be ashamed of our tears, for they are rain upon the blinding dust of earth, overlying our hard hearts.

mein neustes Set handelt von den Dingen, die einen anderen Menschen für Dich „perfekt“ machen. Damit meine ich nicht etwa etwas offensichtliches, sondern die Kleinigkeiten, die man vielleicht gar nicht im ersten Moment bemerkt. Sei es ein Tick, wie bei jedem Lieblingslied schief mitzusingen, oder etwas anderes, das man erst nach und nach lieben lernt und irgendwann gar nicht mehr missen will. Es sind so oft die kleinen Dinge, die wir unglaublich zu schätzen wissen, und sei es nur eine bunte Musikauswahl auf dem Ipod des anderen. Es muss auf den ersten Blick nicht wirklich perfekt sein. Gerade was den Musikgeschmack angeht, tickt jeder anders und doch sind es auch dort die kleinen musikalischen Schätze, die wir auf so einer Playlist entdecken und für den wir den anderen einfach lieben - und sei das Lied auch noch so peinlich ;-)
