This is a Very Traditional Country song that I cut back in 2003. I am honored to say that it was written by Glen Campbell and Jeff Dayton. The little back story on this song for me is about how I first heard it. We were on our way to the studio and one of the Producers that we were working with Mr. Bruce Allen, said give this a listen and let me know what you think. When I heard the piano and steel kickoff at the intro, I knew that I wanted to record it. When I heard the singer on the demo I was like " OK I want to cut this song and try to sing it exactly like this guy on the demo is doing right now"! As it turns out the singer was Buddy Jewell and at that very point and  time he was a contestant on the 1st season of " Nashville Star" in which he beat out Miranda Lambert and went on to win

Maybe We Can Fall Back In Love

This is the Saddest song that I have ever recorded. The title will throw you off.  My lifelong friend Duane Hatfield wrote this song from a child's view on love and divorce. One day many years ago after he and his wife had recently gotten divorced his little girl was visiting with him and she floored him with what she said. Just out of the blue she said  "You know daddy, Love is kinda like an onion because it will make you cry".  That was the inspiration for this song. Thanks Duane for allowing me to record such a personal song.
