Asian Gardens, is a peice that was created to bring a calm few minutes from a stressful day. It was another improvisation and this one is a free download. I hope you will download it and it gives you a few minutes of calm during your day.

So when I originally did this piece of music or should I say Improvised it, I did not realize, how much impact it would have compared to my other pieces.

For lack of better words, this is my top selling piece on iTunes, even with my newest release ("Love's Embrace 2014") I can't beat it, of course "Love's Embrace" is not fully marketed or promoted yet, so I hope my new CD will beat "Gentle Beauty", but I'm still proud of "Graceful Soft Child" because it was played in remembrance of who I was as a child.

This was improvised on my way out the door, for the "real world" (Meaning late for my day job, as an engineer at L-3 Communications). I just sat down for 5 minutes to improvise it and this just popped out :)

What I do hope it will buy "You", listener or fan is a feeling. A feeling of true softness and gracefulness. Remembering who you are, I know life can beat us all down, but feeling that softness and gentleness, can bring life back. Even if your fine with life, this piece can still de-stress.

This version is a draft and the instruments playing in the background are inspired, created and composed by Gary Aubry.

Graceful Soft Child with Instruments

This is the purest form of piano solo improvisation. This was done on 10/14/2014, just last night. the most important thing I want people to come away with is this is a feeling piece, pure atmosphere and ambient piece of music. 

This was just sitting down at the piano and creating a feeling or mood, and I just named it "Piano Run".

This track was started about 6 years ago on my iPhone X with GarageBand. It started by arranging Apple Loops and believe it or not I finished a week ago. A friend of mine has a friend and she wanted to get recorded (which I have not done yet) but I felt it was a great opportunity to try Logic Pro 2 on my iPad and so here it is Asian Soundscapes. Hope someone enjoys it. It’s definitely different than my normal keyboard style but it was a lot of fun. I have 5 more tracks like it. Please leave a like or comment, it would be most appreciated. Asian Soundscapes

This is a soft solo piano improvisation which I did this morning 3/28/2015. It was done early in the morning and mastered with added reverb through MOTU Digital Performer 8. Structure of the piano solo has been written down though the melody line is pure improvisation. It was recorded on my Yamaha DGX-650. Thanks for listening. It is soft and quiet.

Beauty Within Simplicity solo piano

This music piece is called "Innocence" and was improvised the exact day that "As I Wait" came to me. "As I Wait" is a song that I co-wrote with Mary Phillips and Eamonn Karran who did the orchestrations. "Innocence" was just so consonant, gentle and pure.

That day was pretty good because actually three songs were structured, written, and planned along with being played in a improvisational style. It started as a solo piano piece. I asked my friend Eamonn Karran to add some orchestration to it, and what resulted is what you are hearing now. Eamonn always just flows, this is what we came up with our collaboration. 

After I got the audio files back (this has not been mastered or mixed) the piano is not real, it was a Yamaha DGX-650 using C7 samples) I imported the blend into MOTU Digital Performer 8 and added some basic reverb.

Innocence With Orchestration

"Beauty within Simplicity" started as a piece called "Piano Improvisation 3/28/2015". Improvised yet composed which is a pure paradox in terms. It has structure within chordal harmony and yet at the same time parts are really improvised. 

At some point I had Eamonn Karran try and add some new instrumentation to the solo piano part and this was the result of the collaboration. A very quiet gentle Celtic feel and it has come out so beautiful, more beautiful then I would have ever imagined.

This track was actually done on Garage Band with Apple Loops on my iPhone. I just wanted to check out the smart loops and decided how to put them together. Basically this was an experiment.

As The Deer Pants for the Water

I picked up this ukulele the other day (12/20/2016). It is a cutaway acoustic-electric Kala. I recorded this piece of music with my stuff, it's pure ukulele, soft gentle and quiet. Nothing is processed except a little reverb to give it that ambience. God directed me on this piece and I wanted to share it with whoever needs a little peace. This is a first draft, maybe I will really record it, who knows.

This track is a full preview from a new CD coming out in February 2019, by MG Music. The CD is called "Innocence" as time gets closer samples will be put up. This piece was orchestrated by Eamonn Karran and is one of possible two remixes on the CD. Angel is probably the closest piece to my heart. Just want to let people hear what is coming in February.

The orchestrator on “Angel” was Eamonn Karran. On the CD itself, it has two orchestrators, who I am indebted too, for all their hard work in supporting this CD Project. 

“Innocence” is due out in February 2019 through MG Music. Eventually you will be able to purchase the CD from my website or other ways, details to come.
