Young firestarter Kendal lands on Dischi Autunno with his second release, a 4-track elevated burner of contemporary dance music with a distinctive, melodic take on 80's and 90's electronic tropes.

Opener 'Disturbo' blends prime-time piano riffs with insistent breakbeats and uplifting melody. Inspired by horror legend John Carpenter, 'Intacto' takes us further into the wormhole, late 80's new-wave sensibilities in the punchy low-end refreshed by modern production techniques and a euphoric synth line giving a nod to peak-energy trance state dance music.

Heading into the B-side, we're treated to more of Kendal's fine ear for melody and progression with 'Moresko', a meandering tale that allows rhythm and pattern to build and fall away, all the while never losing sight of the release's hallmark uplifting energy. Closing proceedings is the strut and swagger of 'Ritmo Fatale'. Cosmic dancefloor ready, the rolling bassline is beautifully paired with escalating synths and crisp percussion for a hands-in-the-air finale.

Across the four tracks Kendal demonstrates a clear ear for the prime-time, discerning dancefloor: ubiquitous and passionate, his sound is sure to find a home on sound systems around the world.

Our first podcast of the year features an abundance of euphoria and summer reminiscence courtesy of DJ, Producer and Ritmo Fatale label boss @kendal3000. 🇬🇪❤️Already my fifth time visiting Georgia , and this time I ventured out of Tbilisi to discover the western coast and play at the incredible Komorebi Festival in Anaklia, a half-finished seaside resort marked by the country's economic and political struggles.

The juxtaposition of semi-abandoned buildings and the rave created a unique, almost post-apocalyptic atmosphere. Experiencing it was truly indescribable.

The festival took place on a tiny island, gathering ravers, stacks of Function One, and an all-star lineup of the best Georgian residents. It was an incredible experience, both as a DJ and a raver, I learned and dance so much ! 

Bonus : I managed to record my three-hour set, including the audience vibe captured by extra mics.

A huge thank you to the Komorebi Festival for having me all weekend, and thanks to everyone who came and shared the dance floor with me.

Every time I visit Georgia, I leave feeling refreshed and clear-minded, any doubts or anxieties are gone. I reconnect with myself, my music, and my art.
