My 3rd attempt.  The first time I sat down to write without any initial ideas.  So I decided to try to write a "normal" rock song.

Fist Pump Church

Wrote some funky guitar and bass stuff then added a sax lead and came up with the name Funkety Sax.  Then I created the bridge solo to try to pay homage to Yakety Sax.

This song started out as a blues shuffle and I added the surf style guitar last.  The result is a more traditional surf rock style song than my others.

I'm a retired Naval Officer.  My main instrument is trombone but I perform with a couple local cover bands:  18Strings(bass) and Twilight Zone(drums).
