Elysium is all about: Efficient rhythms meet intricate instrumentations, seamlessly sewn together by the virtuous violin play of Seth Schwarz. The intense harmony of this title is a perfect match for Mollono.Bass who fills his hypnotic remix with jangling sound fragments before they eventually add up to the symphonic dimensions of the original. The Canooby Tune on the flipside of this record gives full expression to the open-minded character of Seth Schwarz, featuring a jazzy double bass, a bouncy piano, and broken beat textures. Last but not least the gentlemen Dole & Kom turn this vivid jam session into a trembling dose of floorward pressure.

With his first appearance on Scattered Patterns, Carlos Leshe opens the dance floor with the track “Boat.” A combination of classic sounds, 808 drums, and 303 basslines, along with atmospheric synthesizers and organic sounds, delicately leads us into a magical night full of lights and dancing.

Our second track, "The rumors are true," is ever-evolving yet groove-locked, powerful yet peaceful. A dichotomic experience that only mate in nine can deliver.

Closing Side A of our compilation, we have "2D Radio": stomping drums, squelching resonant synths, roaring FX sounds, and mysterious vocals coming together to challenge your psyche—courtesy of Mind Research's signature sound.

"The sea advances insensibly in silence, nothing seems to happen, nothing moves, the water is so far away that you can barely hear it... finally breaking violently into a wave, which gradually returns to calm". The perfect analogy for the sound that Seleresst shares with us in "Serenata para la diosa del mar".

Arthus debuts in Scattered Patterns with a driving techno cut that combines modern production with old-school synth sounds, reminiscent of the Motor City.

Closing the album with a wildcard, we have Temporal Wangan's "Have u lived enough"—energetic breaks embellished with classic chord stabs, the perfect combo to lose yourself in the dancefloor madness.

Flight Facilities have a brand new single called 'With You', this time featuring the vocal work of Hot Chip drummer Grovesnor – something darker, something deeper and something more mature.

The duo from Sydney bought you 2010’s pop hit ‘Crave You feat. Giselle’ which has netted over 5 million plays on Youtube to date, appeared in cult shows such as How to Make It In America, hit the top 20 in Triple J’s Hottest 100 and even impressed Perez Hilton. In 2011 they released the 70’s disco throw back 'Foreign Language feat. Jess’, once again it cracked Triple J’s Hottest 100, topped Australia’s Independent Music Charts, was loved by The Cool Hunter and turned out to be the song Leonardo DiCaprio requests when he’s out clubbing! Flight Facilities are first up with their personal extended mix, Germany’s David August, the 20 year wiz kid who’s just be inducted into cult Hamburg label Diynamic, enters with a pitch shifted druggy flip on the original. Danny Daze is the man behind the HUUUGE Hot Creation anthem ‘Your Everything’ and has gone crazy with his glitched out Aphex Twin-esk 5AM mix while UK duo MAM (Matt Hughes and Miguel Campbell) bring it back with a chunky bass and Rhodes summer anthem.

Délicieuse vous dévoile aujourd'hui la quatrième release sortie sur notre label Délicieuse Records. Nous partons à la rencontre du duo français Hot Steppa, composé de Félix & Vincent, qui nous avait depuis bien longtemps tapé dans l'œil. La France bouge et c'est un plaisir d'y contribuer.

Hot Steppa nous propose de rentrer dans son univers avec, dans un premier temps, le titre 'Fayen'. Avec une attention particulière portée sur le détail, on aime les guitares cinglantes qui se marient à merveille avec l'ambiance ethnique que dégage ce chant deep et original qui devrait vous faire voyager…

C'est tout naturellement que le producteur berlinois Florian Rietze, dont nous vous avons déjà parlé, a posé sa patte sur le morceau avec ce 'Fayen Florian Rietze Remix' d'une très grande qualité. Plus tech et punchy, l'Allemand exploite à merveille le titre du duo en proposant une version plus "club" tout en poussant plus loin l'utilisation de ce doux chant vietnamien…Le résultat est tout simplement excellent! Nul doute que cette version séduira les adeptes de musiques douces et fines alliées à des beats et rythmiques puissantes.

Hot Steppa nous offre également le morceau 'Koltza' qui s'inscrit dans un style cette fois-ci plus "House". Dans la lignée du premier morceau, 'Koltza' est un condensé de bonnes énergies où l'on retrouve d'excellents riffs de guitares alliés à de fines percussions qui se fondent dans cette ambiance ethnique qui caractérise l'EP. Une fois de plus tenus en haleine par ces chants qui répondent à 'Fayen', on aime ce mélange d'influences qui donne à Koltza un goût original et savoureux.

On monte le volume et on écoute cet excellent 'Fayen' EP qui nous aidera à passer cet hiver en toute sérénité avec des morceaux certes plus complexes et pointilleux mais toujours aussi agréables.

Nous souhaitons la bienvenue à Felix & Vincent au sein de l’équipe de la Délicieuse et leur souhaitons tout le succès qu'ils méritent. Un remerciement particulier à Florian Rietze pour ce très beau remix qui s'intègre à merveille au sein de cet EP.
