Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore VII, the Dog ending, details a strange ending in which Toriel, Papyrus, Undyne, Mettaton, and Asgore were killed, but everyone else was left alone. Now a little white dog rules the Underground by doing little more than sleeping on the throne all day. Somehow, this is working out...really, really well for everyone? NOTHING IS OUT OF PLACE. DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT. EVERYTHING IS FINE. =)

A new dog on the scene by the name of Doggalo takes the role of Mettaton. With Mettaton and so many others gone quality control is pretty low, so it seems anyone can be the Underground's star these days...
He's one of the main members of the Jevillos, a strange facepaint-wearing pseudo-cult that believes in a mythical clown god by the name of "Jevil"...pretty weird stuff if you ask me. ANY RELATION TO ANY REAL LIFE FANBASES IS...PROBABLY EXACTLY WHAT YOU THINK IT IS.
Doggalo's all about having a good time and not caring what anyone thinks. That said, sometimes "having a good time" means "throwing axes around in places where axes do not belong" and "what anyone thinks" is "people saying that maybe axes aren't safe in these particular places."

[Aftergore VII] CORE-nival

*Ok, like, the signal gets pretty weak in here.
*I won't be able to take you through this last part.
*But, like, you've got it.
*I'm sure nothing bad or, uh, climactic will happen.

Aftergore II, the Betrayed Undyne ending, details an ending in which Frisk ruins their streak of pacifism right before the end, slaying the celebrity robot Mettaton on live television. Toriel has taken her ex-husband Asgore's place after his death, and she struggles to maintain morale in an increasingly wary underground. Humans are to be treated not as enemies, but as friends. At least...in theory.

Bratty takes the role of Alphys. Just Bratty. What happened to Catty? Well, Bratty doesn't wanna talk about it. Screw that cat anyway, right? Bratty assumed royal scientist duties after her friend Alphys's disappearance. For a hip chick, she sure does act like a grumpy old lady sometimes. Young'uns best stay off her lawn, and all that good stuff.

Sans takes the role of Mettaton. Mettaton himself was a devastating loss to the Underground, and they needed a new morale boost to fill the Mettaton-shaped holes in their Mettaton-shaped hearts. In comes standup comedian Sans—hotdog vendor by day, side-splitting jokester by night. He’s no superstar, but he’s doing his best…he’s got big and very high heeled shoes to fill.

===== NOTES =====
The CORE, and a lot of Hotland in general, is a weird amalgamation of what it used to be, and an overabundance of plantlife. Some if it is Asriel's fault, some of it is Flowey's fault. You'll usually be able to tell the difference between Asriel's and Flowey's additions to these places. Not only that, but Flowey's managed to both power and take control over some parts of the CORE to make it do what they want it to do, such as controlling the speed of the lasers.

===== NOTES =====
Flowey and Asriel's pride and joy. The walkway to the CORE was entirely redecorated to look like a beautiful field of grass and flowers, complete with a blue sky. While nobody seems to really know what the surface looks like, Flowey feels he has a connection to the outside world, being a flower and all, and manages to direct Asriel into helping them make a fairly accurate portrayal of a field out on the surface.

65. NOVAMEDIA

Not a lot to say for this song. However, I wanted to try doing the opposite of what the original does, so while the original goes for more of a "heartfelt" version by playing the theme song of what you're leaving behind, making you think of the moment's you've been through so far, this one does the opposite and plays a sneak peek of what's to come, through which I wanted to give the player a feeling of impending danger.

TL;DR, this one uses the CORE motif instead of the Hotel one. Enjoy!

066 - CORE Approach

Finally, here it is! This track was pretty fun to work on. Considering how good the original track is, I wanted to make something that stood out, and considering the "tech"-ish nature of the CORE, I decided to try using .mod and Keygen music as a reference. I also had some inspiration from Pizza Tower for the composition. 

Well, I think that's it, hope you enjoy.

[Undertale AU][Swapped Rhythms - Area] Heartbeat

*(Your nostrils are assaulted by the strong scent of rotten eggs.)
*(And yet, you are filled with determination.)

Fable of the Forsaken is a standalone AU that is an honorary member of the Aftergore family. It takes place in the aftermath of a True Pacifist Run. Monsters have left the Underground, and that includes Ice Wolf. With no one to cool down the CORE, after several months without maintenance it overheats and erupts, causing massive destruction and awakening an entire civilization of eldritch beasts living even deeper below the surface. Now, it's up to the wandering Nex to bring peace to this disgruntled civilization of creatures, before they rise to the surface and destroy human and monsterkind alike!

This plays as Nex walks through the smoldering remains of the CORE, one of the last remnants of the old Underground on this strange journey.
