It's in the poop category but before it was called that. I made goofy versions of various songs when I was 16 in 1988 on my Tandy 1000 TL 286 computer, finally poop I can share. Parodies of a handful of songs in there in snippets. I found it funny when I wrote it. Still do. But I've always been odd.

Part of a recording I did with my Korg MS-2000 in November, 2005. It's part of a longer bit I did, but since there seem to be natural divisions that occurred as I played, I figured I might as well chop it up.

I'm posting these because 7 year old Kenneth Udut wanted to be Famous. 1st I play, then I sing it. Not bad, kid. Trapped in a Time Vortex for years, he can finally perform Annie for a potentially infinite audience.  He always knew this day would come.  There was no dad or uncle to say "Good Job!" so 42 year old Kenneth Udut is doing it for his 7 year old self.

Sound strange?  It shouldn't. I'm proud of this kid even more than if he was my son; because - he's me.  He deserves his time in the spotlight.

Made on Korg MS-2000.  The beginning is a bit raw but it gets smooth and pretty soon afterwards.  I can't believe I made this.  It's my first time hearing it in a very long time.  Apologies for the mono and lack of deep bass; I had to use the mic input of my computer.  I will redo this at a later time in stereo and that will capture the sub-bass.  But I'm satisfied that this captures it.  It's sound paint because the spectrograph to me, is like a painting.

The trouble with "you have great potential" is never finishing a damn thing.  But I did this.  It's improvised and finally published.  Youtube and soundcloud didn't exist when I made this. 

Sorry it's mono - the original is stereo. Sub-bass didn't make it in.  But with a better analog to digitital I'll get it proper one day. But at least it's here... and I'm ok with the results.  Actually, I love it :P  but then again, I made it.

Hi Seedy - enjoy - Converted MIDI piano to Lute by converting it to ABC notation then back to MIDI again, and adding an octave.  My attempt to was to make sound like a Banjo without much work.  Success?  Not really. But for a 10 minute project, I'm satisfied.

Improv I did - I don't remember yet when I recorded this - between the ages of 14-17 ('86-89)   I think it was using the grand piano in the basement of my church with some mics and fed through a guitar pedal into a cassette deck I brought there and back again.  Since I worked there as the custodian from age 13-18, I had free access to the church anytime I wanted to, including the piano.
