Recently while at a convenience store, the cashier said “Christmas ain’t the same when you lose your mama” No truer words have ever been uttered. My mom left us in August of 2004. I’ve been working on this song for a couple of years and was waiting for the right time to put it out there for the world to hear. I hope it touches your heart 
But most of all I hope it brings you all those memories to mind with that loved one that is no longer with you.

As we are heading back from vacation in New Mexico and coming out of the mountains, I’m gripped with fear. I hate driving in the mountains.  But my security blanket is beside me, making everything ok. That’s where the basis of this song comes from
