Tresor Records is proud to introduce the debut collaboration between all-time reference DJ Deep, and emerging artist Roman Poncet, with two powerful 12"s released back-to-back, exploring both modern and classic interpretations of techno.

DJ Deep, uncovered by Laurent Garnier in the early ‘90s, has always rested on the cusp of modernity, whether in the realm of house or techno, relentlessly delivering visionary selections throughout. As label owner of Deeply Rooted, DJ Deep seeks out likeminded artists, including Poncet, to propel his vision of contemporary sounds.

Roman Poncet, surfaced in 2013 with a growing catalog on labels as Deeply Rooted, Taapion or Figure. The blend of the two producers is simply incendiary and their profound compatibility takes all its sense on these two EPs.

What a ride. This was the closing set for Acid Wars – full throttle 'til the very end. The energy in that room was unreal, and I’m still buzzing from it.
Massive thanks to everyone who stayed and danced it out with me 'til the lights came on.

Kenny B. war schon immer musikbegeistert. Er verstand sie eher als Kunst, nicht nur als Musik, die man nebenbei hört. Sein Interesse war stets der nicht kommerziellen Musik zugewannt - unbewusst. Man könnte sagen er ist musikverrückt! Aber ihm fehlte immer das gewisse Etwas an der Musik, die er bis dato hörte. Als er dann Techno "kennenlernte" wusste er was es war. Da war dieses "Etwas" nicht erklärbar, aber es war aufeinamal da. Anfang 2010 kaufte er sich seine Plattenspieler. Fortan begann das Interesse an dem 4/4 Takt stetig zu steigen und sein Plattenregal füllte sich schnell. Im April 2010 legte er erstmals auf einer öffentlichen Party in einem Club auf. Im Oktober 2010 spiele er das erste mal als Lokalact in der Unsichtbar Saarbrücken und ist dort als Resident ein fester Bestandteil der UB geblieben. Doch er war immer auf der Suche nach neuen Herausforderungen und fing 2012 an selbst zu produzieren. 2013 wurden die ersten remixe und eigenen Produktionen veröffentlicht…
