Rules for this Au Playlist:                                              
1. If there's a new version of the theme that sounds better, that theme will be replaced with the new version.                                                                     
2. If a Au theme haves a motif that similar to that theme, it won't be added to this playlist.                   
3. If an Au theme sounds so bad that it should get a V2, it's added to the bottom Best to Worst themes

An Once Upon A Time Undertale AU Compilation 2025

The monsters were in a difficult situation, but they held onto their hopes and dreams.
That is until one final human came along...
And they all disappeared without a trace.

Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore VI, the King Papyrus ending, details an ending in which everyone who could be killed by Frisk was killed with the exception of Papyrus. He's the ruler of the underground by default now, and he does his best to keep morale up in an underground more hopeless than ever before. Humans are to be treated as targets of puzzles, no matter their moral alignment. At least that's Papyrus's goal. His subjects might not be so keen on that.

The game originally forcibly closed itself at the DELTARUNE-like cutscene. After we restarted our computer, ironically, the game booted immediately into a garbled version of the Once Upon a Time sequence.

Once Upon A Time (2014)

Long ago, two races ruled over Earth: HUMANS and MONSTERS
One day, war broke out between the two races.
After a long battle, the humans were victorious.
They sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell.

Many years later…

As the years went by, humans fell down the mountain.
Most of them never returned.
However, the last fallen human not only survived...
But broke the barrier, after a fierce battle.
Due to the acts of a selfless and caring human...
Monsterkind was able to see the sun once more.
And peace between the two races was restored.
However, peace can only last so long…

Once upon a time, there were two ruling Earth.
HUMANS and MONSTERS.
There was once harmony; The union of contrary
Yet it has been diminished.

The MONSTERS fell one by one, overpowered by the HUMANS.
A meager amount of MONSTERS then remained.
They were sealed under the MOUNTAIN and left to bask in eternal sorrow.
From neighbors, to families and friends;
All had been eviscerated and scattered into dust.

Left in silence, the MONSTERS lie in wait.
Time befalls the régisseur.
Its cue has arrived.

Long Ago

HUMANS, MONSTERS, LIVED HAND IN HAND,
TOGETHER IN HARMONY ACROSS THE LAND.

BUT THEN, BETWEEN RACES, CONFLICT HAD BOILED;
WHICH RESULTED IN WAR, A GRAND TURMOIL.

HUMANS TRAPPED MONSTERS DOWN DEEP WITH A SPELL,
IN THE COLD AND DARK, MONSTERKIND WOULD DWELL.

LEGENDS SURFACED, OF THE GREAT SUMMIT.
AND OF HOW ALL WHO CLIMB UP ARE DOOMED TO THEN PLUMMET.
