Since we're in early-game territory for MT 1, why not delve a bit into MT 2 material for a bit, huh?

Mortatoriel 2, the "Betrayed Underground" ending, details an outcome in which a once-merciful fallen human suddenly kills many monsters in Cool Cool Peaks, including Grillby and Dappertune, and Queen Toriel. Former king of monsters, Asgore, has returned to reclaim the throne, trying to amend for his mistakes and reassure his people that everything will improve despite their suffering. Royal scientist Undyne has tightened security in the Underground, and monsterkind refuse to trust humans anymore. Even if humans did show some kindness in the past, anything can happen.

Asriel takes both his and Toriel's role. After his father returned to the throne, Asriel became more aware of his connection to the crown and is taking on heavy responsibilities of being the underground's prince, especially in light of the Cool, Cool Peaks massacre. Knowing well that Chara once had the promise of pacifistic humans, he secretly wanders into the Sunken Temple to watch for fallen humans so that he can guide them towards a path of kindness and compassion.
Note 1 (05/08/21): @the_freaking_weirdo has updated the thumbnail for this track with a slight tweak to Asriel's sprite; more specifically, some things hanging from Asriel's cape that were not visible (due to blending into the background with a black color) are now visible, with a dark blue color matching his cape.

Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore VI, the King Papyrus ending, details an ending in which everyone who could be killed by Frisk was killed with the exception of Papyrus. He's the ruler of the underground by default now, and he does his best to keep morale up in an underground more hopeless than ever before. Humans are to be treated as targets of puzzles, no matter their moral alignment. At least that's Papyrus's goal. His subjects might not be so keen on that.

Monster Kid's sister, known simply as "Sister Kid," takes the role of Sans. She's an aggressively apathetic teen who adamantly doesn't give a damn. Don't smile at her, and don't mess with her under any circumstances. She's not having any of it. She's ordered to keep an eye on her sibling at all times, much to her dismay.

Aftergore VII, the Dog ending, details a strange ending in which Toriel, Papyrus, Undyne, Mettaton, and Asgore were killed, but everyone else was left alone. Now a little white dog rules the Underground by doing little more than sleeping on the throne all day. Somehow, this is working out...really, really well for everyone? NOTHING IS OUT OF PLACE. DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT. EVERYTHING IS FINE. =)

Alphys takes the role of Sans. After many public figures mysteriously disappear, Alphys (like seemingly everyone else) seems...kind of unaffected? In fact, she mellowed out a lot. The Annoying Dog certainly had no intention of telling her what to do, so she retired to Snowdin, where she's learning how to be a more social creature. Weird that your friends dying would do that to you??
