I'm sure everyone has heard about the 'Gilets Jaunes' (yellow vests) in France and the demonstrations happening around the country. I have mixed opinions about this movement, although I understand it has come from a place of genuine frustration with the Macron government and I share those feelings. I'm paying attention though because we live in tense times of extreme protectionism/nationalism and incidents of racism have already been reported on those 'gilets jaunes' demonstrations. Obviously I don't want to paint them all with the same brush but I am watching cautiously. And let's remember that this was all triggered initially by a tax on petrol, consumer rights and such, hardly what I would consider top of my list of grievances. Obviously this is about more than petrol prices now, French people are angry, and history tells us that we should definitely listen when French people are angry...

Here's a new joint.... It's been a while since I dropped something on my own (not a collabo or a label release). So it's nice to get back to basics. 

I'm really keen on exploring a darker mood on my tracks. On this one, I'm visualising a dystopian future, the aftermath of climate change perhaps, a wasteland with few humans and items of consumption scattered around, rendered useless.

What about a whole project with this vibe? Your thoughts?
