Kicking off our mix series, we present our long-awaited founder’s mix, encapsulating all the sounds that influence us individually and as a collective. With an hour of minimal and heavy rolls, ragga jungle, groovy vocals and  summery flavours straight from the capital, this mix showcases a seamless blend of our tastes and serves as a perfect soundtrack for sunny day sessions or any occasion.

Marking the start of a series curated by us to support exciting artists, quality sounds, and bring something fresh to the scene, this mix is a true testament to what’s to come.

Volume Two

JV steps up for Volume Two with a mix packed full of cold drum & bass selections that hit hard and run deep. Expect sharp precision and a flawless flow as he moves through techstep, jungle, and minimal flavours, a masterclass in rhythm and control. This one’s an absolute treat.

Kensington Cuts Vol. 2 - JV

Coming in hot for Volume Three, J Hole brings a fresh summer DnB mix stacked with vibes, rollers, heaviness, and everything in between. Built for cold beers, hot days, and summer roadies with the crew.

Kensington Cuts Vol. 3 - J Hole

The Auckland duo, infamous for their seamless blends and high-energy sets, has managed to fit in well with the local scene. They’ve had the privilege of playing a variety of different styles and genres while supporting acts such as Kings of the Rollers, Gray, Formula, and Mandidextrous.
Glad to finally show off a more rollers/jungle side of their style in a mix.

This mix is made so that you can listen to it at 3am in a club or in the car on a summer roadie. Both elements of summer jungle and heavy rollers make for a delightful combination while listening.

Kensington Cuts Vol. 4 - Resonate

Nos is a Tauranga based DJ that is well known for his diversity and energy when performing. He has collated some of the finest summer drum and bass, intertwining smooth blends with heavy hitting doubles. This mix covers all spans of the drum and bass spectrum, so everybody can enjoy a bit of everything!

We are Kensington Collective, a forward thinking, grassroots DJ and promotions collective based out of Wellington, New Zealand. Our aim is to promote the amazing local talent we have in this country throughout the whole spectrum of dance music.
