Sounding good, Kent! I really liked the little guitar interlude before the final verse. The "why does everyone hate me/I was 20, 21" reminded me of Blink-182's lyric "nobody likes you when you're 23", but obviously, much different approach & sentiment.

the chorus is really so sweet and the variation brings fresh perspective- guitar line is great and the melodic flow carries the story along perfectly :)

this is really well done Kent! I love how you can capture so many more stories and images in so few words.  Just by saying "we had no idea what was coming (at 19-21)" it creates a million memories of that time and what I was like and experiencing then and what was to come.  Very brilliant way to have the listener create their own imagery (its like you are guiding the voyage but not writing the story for them)
