Kenya Nights is the largest electronic music entertainment company in Kenya. Its focus is on hosting world class electronic music events, through both bringing international acts to the country and by nurturing local talent. 

UPDATED INFO: Kenya Nights officially closed its events department after celebrating the 10th anniversary in December 2019, now focusing on event management, consultancy, artist management and the Kenya Nights Podcast. Kenya Nights began as an events photography service in 2009 - the first in Kenya to successfully use Facebook as its platform. Three years of events photography at over 300 events highlighted to Kenya Nights founder and staff the limited scope of the electronic music scene in Kenya. After identifying this gap, the company expanded into hosting electronic music events showcasing a diverse range of artists and sub genres in 2012. Kenya Nights first show, held on the company’s third anniversary, brought in Berlin based artist Nadja Lind and was attended by over 1000 people. Since then, the company has organised over 80+ electronic music, hip hop and dub reggae events and hosted over 50+ international artists from the US, UK, South Africa and Europe in Nairobi, Diani and Kilifi. The company has also launched the careers of numerous Kenyan electronic DJs and artists, including Sarabi, Suraj, DJ Kace, L.A. Dave, Dread Steppa, Sean Fraser and Max Melesi to name a few.

The Founder and Managing Director of Kenya Nights is Rizwan Ibrahim. Rizwan is a Kenyan entrepreneur music industry professional who has had full operational control of the company since its establishment. In addition to Kenya Nights shows within Kenya, Rizwan has collaborated with regional partners to host artists and contribute to music festivals and events in South Africa, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Mauritius, Nigeria, and Malawi. He has been asked to speak at Lake of Stars, Lagos Music Conference, BBC – Business Daily – Access Africa, The Great Escape Festival, IOMMa, among other high-profile industry events.
