I wrote this track after a dear friend lost their last parent and was facing the first christmas as an orphan.  A tribute to those that have past and hope for those that remain.

I wanted to put out something that is fund and carefree as a momentary distraction.  My way of giving back.  The video for this track features a list of Broadway All Stars.  Using the video to raise funds for Broadway Cares at the Covid-19 Emergency Assistance Fund.

I was blessed to hear a rendition of this song that a dear friend posted and was moved by both the melody and message.  I contacted the composer Donnetta Lavinia Grays and discovered that she had created this song as a gift for people to use as they see fit to promote justice and equality.  I had to answer the call.  This video is my best effort to convey what the song means to me and hopefully motivate others who are fighting the fight for equality and humanity in the world.  I am going to verbatim attach the authors statement so as not to dilute her mission and simply say that I support any cause that fosters social enlightenment and equal rights for all.  I’m also attaching the authors link to her original version of the song so that anyone who wants to can participate and make their own version of the song.  Stay Safe, Stay Strong and Never Give Up!
