Hawaiian Style Band - Love and Honesty

I decided to re-record this as I am planning to put out another CD soon and want to include this.

I Am Sailing - Ukulele Cover

Since my live version of this medley is my most popular song on SoundCloud, I decided to record a better quality version.

This is a mix of two great contemporary Hawaiian songs.  I first fell in love with "You Don't Write" from the Ka'au Crater Boys recording. When I heard "Drop Baby Drop" by the Manao Company, I thought that these two songs would sound good together.

I recorded all instruments and vocals. I used a Shure Beta mic, a Kanile'a tenor Uke, a Kala UBASS, tambourine, and cabasa.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow - What a Wonderful World - Cover

I happened upon Hui Ohana's (Ledward & Nedward Ka’apana, with their cousin, Dennis Pavao) version of the "Come on Over" from back in 1977, and immediately knew I must record it. This song was written by Barry and Robin Gibb (The Bee Gees) in 1975. It sounds as good now as it did more than 40 years ago.

I hope you enjoy listening as much as I did recording. I broke out my custom 10 string Kanilea ukulele for the rich tone it provides.
