Oceanvs Orientalis for Acid Sundays Radioshow

Kicking off the week with this groovy psychedelic soundscape set played by Safak OzKutle AKA “Oceanvs Orientalis” is a formation which aims to challenge the aesthetic perception in electronic music.

It blends itself with the archaelogic tunes of mankind’s cumulative musical history and in this very context believes that “everything comes from the east”.

Despite of being an electronic-based formation -due to practical reasons- at the moment, it intends to transform into a dance (to move the body and feet to music) orchestra where each instrument will be played by its own instrumentalist.

Festifari got caught in a tiny desert storm this year, though everybody was so motivated to dance and have fun, that nobody actually cared about the little sandstorm that touched the festival site. 
I was so happy to play here for the third consecutive time and to see everybody swaying to the sounds i was playing.

It was a Saturday afternoon, after a full day of dancing and connection we found ourselves going crazy to the tribal beats of Lemurian in The Dark Side Of The Moon stage. We witnessed how he controlled the crowd in ways we can't explain, we saw an intense ball of energy grow exponentially with every second of his set. We danced like there was no tomorrow.

It was beautiful. It was magic. And we can't be more happy today to be sharing this gift with all of you.

This is a raw recording from my sunrise set Lapa Stage, Envision Festival, Costa Rica. 22.02.2020.

Most of the animal sounds you can hear in the set was recorded up in the jungle where we stayed for a week.
