Sonar Kollektiv and Toy Tonics have put out his charming sounds before and this new one is another joyous offering.

The feel good ‘2 Getha (4 Eva Mix)’ kicks things of with old school drum breaks and loved-up vocals. Big smeared pads, a new age melody and classic bassline line finish it off and carry you away to summery house heaven. .

Sol Selectas run by Sabo welcomes back Unders who has been a prominent feature in the label's back catalogue. Unders has also contributed to other imprints including Kindisch, Under Your Skin, Sincopat and Katermukke along with his own Happy Camper Records.

Unders, is a producer from Holland, who had a break through song called “Syria” on Sol Selectas three years ago, and is a huge fan of the band Morphine, so he created this dance floor remix of their track “The Other Side” for his DJ sets.

With the intention of keeping the original Morphine legacy alive along with the spirit of deceased lead singer Mark Sandman, the original members of the band have agreed to officially release this incredible remix, as every time Unders played it the reaction was incredible.

Already rated by Mixmag as one of the hottest tracks of the Summer in 2017, even though it had never even been released, this special remix of an American classic will surely take its listeners on a journey to “The Other Side”, where “life is better”.

Morphine was an Alternative Rock group from Boston which formed in 1989. Morphine’s unique sound combined blues and jazz elements with more traditional rock arrangements, and the lead singer Mark Sandman had a distinctively deep and laid-back tone. After five successful albums in the early '90s they disbanded after Mark Sandman tragically died on stage of a heart attack. The founding members reformed into the band Vapors of Morphine, maintaining much of the original style and sound.

With a slow, smouldering sound consisting of saxophones, soft percussion, two finger bass and beatnik-style poetry lyrics, the bands bluesy sound has been captured fully in Unders stunning rework.

The lyrics of the track talk of “crossing over to the other side” and this version pays homage to the original and celebrates the living achievements of Mark Sandman before he sadly passed away.

Created by Helia Jamali, the Artwork was influenced by the song lyrics, and is intended to be a visually stimulating journey to an unknown but familiar place “with the preacher's wife”.

Long-time collaborators Lazare Hoche and S.A.M. have linked up on new project ‘Perfect Pushup 01’, the first release on the duo’s newly founded Perfect Pushup label, out Friday 6th March.

A two-track, vinyl-only release, ‘Perfect Pushup 01’ kicks off with the warm, sensual vibes of ‘The AR’, a feelgood house cut that takes the listener on a blissed-out 12-minute journey. On the flip-side, ‘The GB’ is a chugging, hypnotic slice of disco-inflicted house that possesses a similarly floor-filling vibe. The launch of the new project, S.A.M.’s first release since the lauded ‘Fury’s Laughter’, will also be marked with a run of bespoke t-shirts in collaboration with Everpress, available here.

"Perfect Pushup is the new project from myself and S.A.M., we wanted to create a fresh brand to showcase our love for feelgood and soulful house sounds, and we couldn't be happier with this EP to announce the label," Lazare expands.

Lazare and S.A.M. make up two thirds of Mandar, a house trio who are prolific despite all living in different cities. Not only a well-respected DJ and producer, but also the mastermind behind some of the most acclaimed recent underground records, Lazare’s journey has taken the Frenchman via several acclaimed underground vinyl imprints, including Concrete Music and his very own Access Records and Oscillat Music. Previously performing at the likes of Ushuaïa, Boiler Room, Fabric and Output NYC, Lazare has proven to be a mesmerising performer and certified fan favourite.

Drawing on that irresistible French house sound, ‘Perfect Pushup 01’ marks a new chapter in the story of two prolific house heads.

Italian siblings, The Robinson, deliver a mesmerising triplet of tracks on the ‘Nightmares’ EP, having popped up recently on Futureboogie’s 2020 Summer Riot IX EP.  And the FBR HQ has been all of a quiver after one of the deep house scene’s most prominent and revered figures, Ron Trent, blessed the release with a fine remix in his own inimitable style.

With only a couple of releases on RYE Records behind them, The Robinson are clearly fully formed already, as evident on ‘Burnout’, a sprawling and luscious house joint that’s replete with melodic emotion and rhythmic power.

Having been responsible for so many classic jams over the years (‘Altered States’ recorded & released at the age of 16, nuff said!).  Through his productions on the mighty Prescription Records, Peacefrog, Future Vision and so many more, Ron Trent is the epitome of classy, deep vibes, and he stamps his sound onto a fantastic remix ‘Burnout’ with elegance and grace.

In fact, the other original cuts here, ‘Nightmares’ and ‘Matrix’ owe much to the sounds honed by the likes of Ron Trent and other Chicago and Detroit pioneers, as crunchy drum machines, emotive string synths, haunting vocals and sparse yet stirring basslines are all the ingredients needed for the timeless sound and energies contained within these cuts.
