This is a remix I've been wanting to tackle for quite some time, Id toyed about with an initial idea in 2016 but it's wasn't right ....... fast forward to 2023, I have my first gig in years, I knew I needed at least one fresh piece of music for the occasion, and this is what I managed to come up with.

It was the 30th anniversary of the original release funnily enough, the lyrics felt very apt to several aspects of my life so I approached Rob to help me get it to the standard it needed to be made at, I purchased his bumper album pack which included a studio date so I used that to create this. Bit of info about on the day, we couldn't actually arrange me getting to York due to personal issues at home with family members so we made it over skype. There is actually a v1 that is more of a recreation of what we came up with on the day .... I asked Rob if he'd be able to make a couple of changes as I kinda had an image in my minds eye of how I wanted each element to be introduced and BOOM ..... v2 was pretty much as i'd imagined it.

Had superb feedback from the 2 times i've played her out so far, had a fair few people ask where can this be purchased, I still can't fully answer that question .... BUT I have sent my version over to someone from Cappella, as i'd rather this never be released than be bootlegged and the name changed, in turn not paying homage to the original artists who created that work of art in the first place.

I’m Dj Warrior Mumma (Kerry or Kez is good too). I’m located on the Gold Coast, Australia and my partner Ron lives in rural Darwin, Northern Territory. A mother of two beautiful daughters who are my pride and joy, I also am a qualified Baker/Pastry Cook and studying a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Food Science.

My journey into mixing vegan back in September 2024 after purchasing a second hand XDJ-RX from my partner. With Ron and my close friend’s support, I put my head and heart into what has now become my , my safe place to be HAPPY and to FEEL and to LEARN and GROW. 

I consider myself a multi-genre DJ from Hard Trance to Bounce and sub-genres in between.. however it’s clear to see from my mixes that bangin HARD HOUSE especially those tunes with a POWERFUL vocal are where my heart lies. With newfound goals, dreams and desires to excel in my musical journey whilst remaining genuine and humble, I now have a PURPOSE outside of raising my children that I never dreamed possible.
