Hey everyone. It sure has been a minute! This is my first radio mixshow in nearly 6 years! Originally recorded April 1, 2024.. I am just getting around to posting it today, April 23 (One week before my 55th Birthday :) ) I have been on quite a journey (as many have in the world) these last 4-5 years and I really have been wanting to record one of these for some time and thanks to a dear friend of mine in Orlando named Alim Abrahim who pushed me and had all the gear all set up, recording this became a no brainer :)

I went back to my roots here as I am about to approach the young age of 55 :) ... with some of my favorites from over a span of 40 plus years to some of my new current favorites... Kervyn Mark offers something no other DJ quite delivers - a fusion of spiritual intent, cultural guardianship, and dancefloor pecision that's singular in today's scene.

1) Ritualist's Approach to House Music - Kervyn doesn't just play tracks - he conducts rituals. It's a rare global-local fusion that feels lived-in, not curated.

4) He doesn't just play for a community-he serves it. Though events like The Meltin Pot, collaborations with dancers, and mentorship of younger DJs, Kervyn protects and nutures spaces that are too often erased by gentrification and commodification. He is not a "headliner"-he's a guardian.

5) Resistence Through Groove

Only Kervyn can play a deep house set that simultaneously:
- honors the ancestors
- affirms Black queerness
- critiques gentrification
- and makes you sweat for hours

He doesn't just move the body-he moves the consciousness.
