In 2012, ten years after its inception, Stand High Patrol released their first album « Midnight Walkers ». Following the success of their first LP, plus several EPs and singles released on Stand High Records, Pupajim, Rootystep and Mac Gyver now return with a second self-produced album.

With it’s jazzy drums, deep roots bass and foggy piano melody « Sleep on it » introduces this new LP reminding the open approach of Stand High Patrol, their penchants for experimentation and their habit of playing with eras. 

Stand High’s music has always been closely linked with Kazy Usclef’s graphic work, and he has collaborated with Charlie Mars to produce a splendid accompanying video. The tune is now available for legal download with the visuals on youtube. Are you ready for a new dubadub experience?

En 2012 et dix ans après ses débuts, Stand High Patrol sortait son premier album. « Midnight Walkers » présentait un son dub contemporain aux multiples facettes, un son versatile, lourd de basses, baptisé dubadub. Forts du succès de ce premier LP et de celui de plusieurs maxis et singles sortis sur Stand High Records, Pupajim, Rootystep et Mac Gyver reviennent aujourd’hui avec un second album autoproduit « A matter of scale »
 
Avec sa batterie jazzy, sa basse roots et ses notes de piano brumeuses, « Sleep on it » introduit ce nouvel LP en rappelant ce qui caractérise le démarche de Stand High Patrol : cette volonté de mixer les genres, d’explorer les époques et d’expérimenter sans cesse.
Pour consacrer l’importance que Stand High Patrol accorde au lien entre musique et univers graphique le morceau a été admirablement mis en image par Kazy et Charlie Mars.
