MY MIXES

this is the first mix of a series of 12 mixes i will be doing.
i have always been into electronic music and i'm also very much into astrology. so i thought why not join these two things i’m passionate about in a project? 
this is pretty much it, i want to do different mixes and each one relates and displays the traits of each sign. 
through various electronic genres and sub genres i want to tell a bit of the story and the personality of the 12 signs. 
that being said it makes perfect sense to start with the first sign: aries 

a fire sign ruled by mars, they are unafraid of conflict, determined, ambitious and bold. but they can also be a lil chaotic and loud so that was the vibe i was going for.
some fast hard paced techno that will make you want to dance.

ARIES

for the second mix of this series, we have Taurus, a fixed earth sign. taurus season is the season when the sun is starting to come out, we are more carefree and relaxed. but don’t get me wrong the bull is all about emotional and financial security. they need stability for the sake of their mental health. 
this season is about getting into nature and giving yourself a mental break, it’s our chance to stabilize, get comfortable, and come back down to earth.
for this mix, I wanted to give stability and grooves, also a selection of tunes that remind me of the feeling of taurus season, which is bougie but grounded. also, keep it sexy because you know how the natives of this sign are…

TAURUS

gemini is the sign of communication. playful and intellectually curious they are constantly juggling a variety of passions, hobbies, careers, and friend groups. the quick-witted twins can talk to anyone about anything. you can always find them between happy hours, dinner parties, and dance floors. 
gemini is progressive, smart, able to talk for hours and keep it interesting. for this mix, I had to include a lot of tracks with some original vocals and funny remarks, also I had to mix in some acid techno classics because for some reason acid techno gives me Gemini energy.

GEMINI

a mutable water sign ruled by the moon, the celestial body that represents comfort, self care and intuition but phases of the lunar cycle deepen their internal struggles and create fleeting emotional patterns beyond their control.
they love to create cozy, safe spaces that serve as their personal sanctuaries and then spend lots of time in them. so for this one, i wanted to try something different and get out of my shell, pun intended. a mix to enjoy while chilling at home or for those 2am car rides. 
i hope everyone’s had a lovely cancer season enjoying the hot weather with their families and friends, also sending the best wishes to all of you who celebrate another trip around the sun

CANCER

leos are fixed fire and ruled by the sun, so whenever you think a leo is self-centered, think about how the whole planetary system revolves around the sun. i believe leo natives to be truly the best hype man of the zodiac, good-looking, generous, and loyal by default but they can also be very dramatic.
leos are always there to make sure you are your best self. so for this mix, i did just that, i wanted to focus more on the sound I like to play but do something I believe leos can relate too. a bit sexy & a bit of clownery. 
i hope every leo had an amazing season, a lit birthday party, and continues to enjoy this summer.

virgos are logical, practical, and systematic in their approach to life. this earth sign is known for being a perfectionist at heart and isn't afraid to improve skills through diligent and consistent practice. this can lead them to be over critical of themselves and others, which can sometimes be a bit overwhelming. ruled by mercury so they have million ideas per second. also how are your stomach problems? i hope you are well and taking care of your mental & physical health. 
this one is personal because it is my rising sign and i have much love for all my virgo friends. i hope you enjoy this ride.

VIRGO

for this mix we have the air sign ruled by venus, a zodiac sign that always sees both sides of the situation which then leads to the well known indecisiveness of libras. that also makes them prone to be creative & a social sign because they can get inspiration from everything and everyone.
libras are also known to be very flirty, so for this one i wanted to keep it sexy but its just straight up horny panorama bar vibes, something that for me goes well with the libra aesthetic.
i hope everyone can enjoy it as much as i do!
