Rebbe Nachman taught the world that there is no such thing as despair. In today's world it is very easy for one to fall into thinking that he has fallen too far; that G-d no longer wants his prayers. But there is no such thing. "Bein kach u'bein kach, banei heim", regardless, we are G-d's children. He is forever holding out His hand, waiting patiently for us to reach out and take it. But it must start with a prayer. Rebbe Nachman writes that when a Jew calls out to his Father in heaven, G-d turns from "all of His other affairs" so to speak, to focus solely on his cry. In another place, he teaches that when a Jew calls out to G-d, asking to be brought closer, the realization alone of his distance from G-d is itself of tremendous value. Never give up, because G-d has never given up on any of His children. All you need to do is cry out for help. Enjoy!

This song was composed on the yartzeit of Rebbe Kloynimus Kalman Shapira, the Piacezner rebbe. This video, a tribute to his and his focus on educating Jewish youth, is dedicated l'zecher nishmaso.

The Piacezner rebbe was a giant of spirit. Unique among rebbes, he formulated an entire system of Torah thought built on a penetrating analysis of both the kabbalistic tradition and the human psyche. His seforim are filled with the melody of his poetic soul, lending the most incredible encouragement from that dark time in Jewish history. Though his holy kingdom was destroyed by the Nazis ym"s, his fire lives on in today's youth, who carry the torch of our eternal spirit. In our generation, his torch burns more brightly than ever before. Zechuso yagein aleinu.
