Wir haben einen neuen Metamix für euch: Pani Paulo grüßt mit ihrem Liveset vom diesjährigen Metaware Spätsommerfest am Wohnlabor und bringt euch in die hungrige, after sunset Dance-Laune zurück, mit komplexen broken Beats, Latin American Gueto Club, Garage und High Energy Drag House. 
Die Genres bei Pani Paulo fließen dynamisch und zufällig zusammen. Experimentell und neugierig beginnt sie die Suche nach Tracks und lässt sich auf dem Weg zum fertigen Set von zufälligen Be(at)gegnungen inspirieren. Die Sets der @goldbroilers DJ, die zwischen House, Trance, Wave, Disco, Dance, Breaks und neuerdings auch Gueto Club und Garage changieren, sprechen dich auch gerne direkt mal an. Die Telefonate, Sprachaufzeichnungen, fragmentarischen Loop-Gespräche legen sich wie ein Voice Over über dein eigenes Set-Kopfkino. DJing und auditive Filmsprache verbinden sich. Pani Paulo erforscht ein neues mediales Format. 
Pani Paulo's Reise bei Metaware begann mit ihrem Set auf der Winterwerkschau 2022, gefolgt von ihren Auftritten auf dem Horizonte-Release im Funkhaus, dem Metaware-Takeover im Künstlergarten, auf dem diesjährigen FLINTA*-Kampftag auf dem Theaterplatz, bei Drucken & Dancen am Pavillon, auf dem CSD Weißenfels und zuletzt auf dem Spätsommerfest am Wohnlabor. Auch co-moderierte sie bereits eine Metaspace-Folge und hilft bei Veranstaltungen mit.

Pani Paulo greets you with her live set from this year's Metaware late summer festival at the Wohnlabor and brings you back in the hungry, after sunset dance mood, with complex broken beats, Latin American gueto club, garage and high energy drag house. 
The genres of Pani Paulo flow together dynamically and randomly. Experimental and curious, she begins her search for tracks and draws inspiration from random be(at)encounters on her way to a finished set. The sets of @goldbroilers DJ, which oscillate between house, trance, wave, disco, dance, breaks and recently also gueto club and garage, also like to speak to you directly sometimes. The phone calls, voice recordings, fragmentary loop conversations lay themselves over your own set head cinema like a voice over. DJing and auditory film language combine. Pani Paulo explores a new media format. 
Pani Paulo's journey at Metaware began with her set at Winterwerkschau 2022, followed by her performances at the Horizonte release at Funkhaus, the Metaware takeover at Künstlergarten 2022, at this year's FLINTA* fight day at Theaterplatz, at Drucken & Dancen at Pavillon, at CSD Weißenfels and most recently at the late summer festival at Wohnlabor. She also already hosted a Metaspace episode and helps out at events.

Vito Antonio Cellamare, aka Man or Mistress, è da sempre un esploratore del cosmo sonoro.
Nato a metà anni Novanta, è da subito influenzato dalla cultura musicale di suo padre, già fondatore di una radio libera.
Fino all'età di 16 anni, il blues, il rock psichedelico e la dub sono onnipresenti negli ascolti giornalieri, influenzando fortemente il suo rapporto con il suono.
Folgorato dai solchi e dalle storie celate dietro ogni singolo disco, Antonio inizia la sua personale odissea nel mondo del collezionismo, culminata con il suo primo viaggio a Berlino. Qui, frequentando il leggendario Hardwax e diversi club tra cui Berghain/Panorama Bar, Tresor, Sisyphos, Ohm (e tantissimi altri), avviene una metamorfosi decisiva che lo porterà ad abbattere qualsiasi tipo di limite, culturale e musicale. L'ambiente berlinese, arricchito da eventi memorabili come l'Atonal Berlin Festival, gli permettono di avere una visione della musica totalmente libera dai classici canoni tesi a limitare l'esperienza d'ascolto.
Dopo anni passati a catalogare e collezionare diverse migliaia di dischi, nel 2023 Man or Mistress cura la direzione artistica di Tensione Collective, gruppo focalizzato nell'organizzazione di eventi di musica techno. 
L'ultimo anno, è stato caratterizzato dalla partecipazione al Bari Pride, qui esibendosi a bordo del techno truck di Tensione, e dalle closing sessions al fianco di artisti del calibro di Thomas Heckmann, Leo Anibaldi, D-Leria, Key Clef, Z.I.P.P.O., Sanna Mun.

Vito Antonio Cellamare, aka Man or Mistress, has always been a sound explorer.
Born in the mid 90s, he's immediately influenced by his father, owner of a pirate radio station. Until the age of 16, blues, psychedelic rock and dub are ubiquitous in his daily listening and strongly affect his relationship with sound.
Thunderstruck by the grooves and the genesis hidden behind each record, Antonio begins his personal odyssey into the world of collecting and djing with his first trip to Berlin. After frequenting the legendary Hardwax and several clubs including Berghain/Panorama Bar, Tresor, Sisyphos, Ohm (and many others), he experiences a fundamental metamorphosis. The Berlin environment, enriched by memorable events such as the Atonal Berlin Festival, allow him to have a truly personal music vision.
In 2023, after collecting thousands of records, Man or Mistress joins Tensione Collective and shortly later he becomes the Art Director of the project. 
Last year, was marked by his performance on the Tensione Techno Truck, during the Bari Pride and by his closing sessions alongside Thomas Heckmann, Leo Anibaldi, D-Leria, Key Clef and Z.I.P.P.O., Sanna Mun.

Pour ouvrir l'année 2024, on accueille @theobeguin, électron libre de la scène locale et co-fondateur de la géniale webradio lyonnaise @radiobeguin pour 59 minutes et 59 secondes représentatives de son mélange de styles : house, breaks, bass, ghetto house ... Myriade de gros bangers en vue !

𝙏'𝙚𝙨 𝙦𝙪𝙞 𝙢𝙚𝙘 ?

Merci la team pour l'invit ! Moi c'est Théo, rennais d'origine et installé sur Lyon depuis plusieurs années. J'ai commencé a mixer avec un collectif electro-latino, on organisait quelques soirées à Lyon avant le Covid. 

Depuis j'ai co-fondé Radio Béguin, webradio qui a pour but de mettre en avant la scène locale. On a pu faire pas mal d'événements en invitant différent•e•s artistes locaux•ales, et ça m'a aussi permis de mixer dans de belles soirées ici et ailleurs. 

Je n'ai pas vraiment de styles de prédilection, ça évolue souvent, mais j'aime bien les trucs pas trop sérieux avec des breaks et des bass. C'est un peu ce que j'ai voulu montrer dans ce set avec beaucoup d'influences uk.

𝘿𝙚𝙨 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙩𝙨 𝙚𝙣 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨 ? 

J'ai mon émission mensuelle sur Radio Béguin, Gueule de Bois Sentimentale, avec des sélections réconfortantes de musiques latines, pop, électro et plus. J'invite aussi d'autres artistes que j'aime bien un mois sur deux à partager leurs découvertes. 

J’aimerai bien mixer plus sur vinyles, je vais (re)tenter l’expérience le 27 janvier au taille Crayon pour une soirée Radio Béguin avec Dj ÂMy B et K1000. Sinon je bricole avec mon ordinateur et j'aimerais bien sortir quelques tracks un jour !

Il y en a beaucoup, notamment sur la scène bass music avec Flore, Axonberg, LeTo, le collectif Prisme, Saku Sahara, Elon Skum, etc. On a une scène alternative très riche aussi, avec des artistes comme Danse Musique Rhône Alpes, Satin 2000, Warzou, Canari Gros Calibre, Sathönay... On a la chance de compter sur des lieux qui font vivre la scène locale et propose une programmation très variée, comme le Grrrnd Zero, le Périscope, le Sonic ou encore les Clameurs. On peut aussi compter sur nos disquaires Unité Centrale ou Onigiri Records par exemple pour faire vivre la scène. 

Des collectifs se bougent aussi pour organiser des soirées originales dans plein d'endroits différents, je pense à safar notamment. 

Ce serait cool d'avoir plus de lieux en centre ville qui ferment tard aussi pour que les artistes locaux·ales puissent jouer. 

Et puis on aimerait beaucoup avoir un local avec radio béguin, pour recevoir tous·tes nos artistes résident·es, si vous avez des idées :)

bedroom dj fantasies

Po kilku latach przyglądania się poczynaniom pochodzącego z Olsztyna a stacjonującego w Warszawie DJa i producenta, nasze drogi w końcu się przecinają. Jacka kojarzyć możecie m.in. z kolektywu Trainspotting czy współorganizacji pięknego DIY festiwalu SFORA. Dla mnie osobiście to w pierwszej kolejności bratnia dusza jeśli chodzi o muzyczne upodobania.

Atmosfera, organiczność, melodyjna ulotność to tylko garść określeń jakimi mogę spróbować opisać jego nieuchwytną selekcję. Jak kameleon dostosowujący się do okoliczności towarzyszących jego występom, niejednokrotnie porywał mnie swoim miksem, przez który zawsze przemawia staranność i silne uczucia, jakimi darzy dźwięk. W burntherootsowym guest miksie zabierze nas w różnorodny, pełen eksperymentu zakątek jego biblioteki.
