What Is It All For

Most of the time when I write lyrics they usually have to do with my life in some way and this one was no different! I've had a lot of disappointments in my 62 years walking this Earth but you know what? Each and every one of them taught me something and that's what this song is about! I'm playing all instruments and sing the vocals on this one. 😊🎸

Disappointment

So I use to spend an awful lot of time on my friend's Livestream show. His channel is Metal Head Hippie, he had his Livestreams 3 days a week running for at least 4 but up to 7 hours a show! I strongly recommend everyone to go to YouTube and check his channel out! This is by far the best community of musicians I've ever seen! It's where I made all my musician friends all over the world! I have friends in literally every country on the planet! Anyway the Hippie once a month had a show called the M. O. M. show or Month Of Metal. we were supposed to a good metal song either original of cover and he'd play the videos on the show, so I wrote this doom metal song and I enlisted the help of Hugh Caldwell of Scotland to do everything other than rhythm and bass guitars and vocals that was all me 😜🎼🎵🎶🎸😎

Destroyer Of Worlds

I wrote this song in honor of my mom who passed away at only 70 years old I was 46 at the time. the lyrics or some of them are things she use to say to me from childhood till she passed ❤️😇

To Thine Own Self Be True

This song was made famous by Steppenwolf in the movie Easy Rider back in 1970 when I was 9 years old! I fell in love with it as soon as I heard it as I identified with it most of my adult life!! This was the very first song I recorded in BandLab it took me 4 tracks to do it! Guitar, bass, lead and vocals! I still love this song and I’m sure some of you older guys remember well also. No I know a lot gents close to my age group with know this song straight away! It was written by Seals & Croft back in 1972 when I was just 11 years old! I love this song to this very day! I had to youse a few tracks on this! 2 guitars my bass and 2 vocal track which I do all by my self! I bet a lot of you will flash back to 1972 when the song fits aired! I just hope I did I’d justice! Please let me know!! Enjoy my brother and sister musicians and my brother and sisters who just like to listen I really hope you like this one! When I did it on stage playing only bass my singer made a mistake and instead of singing summer breeze he sang summers Eve! Well who ever caught had a really good laugh including myself! I pictured a woman dressed in white running though tall weeds or wheat which ever it was! It took all my strength nut to laugh out loud, I almost lost it! I just about that with him to this day and that had to be every bit of 25 years ￼ago! Lol 😂😂😂😂 enjoy my friends! I’m tired that’s it for me tonight us old folks need our rest lol 💜

This is a song which holds true every bit as when Buffalo Springfield wrote it! He was right “There’s Something Happening Here and what it is ain’t exactly clear! There’s a man wiling a gun over there no every body better be where! All this still happens today with all the drugs and believe me I was no angel growing up but I would not did I ever own a gun! And I’d absolutely never even think about killing somebody! I’d have to live with that the rest of my life and I don’t think I’d be able too! Things in this world have to change or we will cause our own extinction and I love everyone and would hate to see that happen! Let’s sit aside our petty differences and work on healing our world! We are one species I don’t care what color, religion, sexual orientation or even political affiliation which I think they should all be fired republicans Democrats, liberals all of them they’re just a bunch of lying thieves take from the poor and give to the rich! I for one have had enough! Working class citizens should be elected in and watch how things get better! We need to start seeing each other as brothers and sisters! We all crawled out of the same pond of goo in Pangea and where the pond was is now known as Africa right where the garden of Eden was supposed to have been! So please help me fix our word make it a safe place for our children to grow and be safe! I love you all even if you don’t love me, I love anyway every person on the planet 🌎 🌍🌏

I recorded this as a video a couple days ago. It’s a cover of my favorite Neil Young song! And now look now I’m the old man lol I used just my 12 string fry no amp no effects and a sang as I played it! It seems to be blowing up on a couple of my other platforms lol hope you like it too!

I sit at the bus stop, start my video camera on my iPhone and just start playing whatever comes out without even thinking about it! I have a ton of these on my YouTube channel it’s where most of my music is born and my audience seems to love them! I hope you do to! I love doing them it’s really fun! No do overs either the way it comes out the first time gets uploaded 😂😎

The Bus Stop Session 6/19/2023

This is a track that’s not complete yet! Most of my friends either passed away or moved away! I’ve been living in this cemetery for 8 years now and I’ve had no friends to hand out with in 4 of those years! So this is what I tried to convey within this rhythm! Eventually I will finish it! I must have over 200 songs that I have yet to finish! Every time I start to sit down and work on one another just magically flows down my arms into my fingers and spills out onto the strings! I’m the kind of person who loves collaborating with others so if any of you hear something unfinished of mine that you really like and would like to join in please don’t hesitate to let me know!
