Over the past few years, somewhat mysteriously, @Volster has gradually become one of the most noted figures of the Croatian electronic scene, leaving his signature through production, DJing, event organisation and running a label imprint: @secessionrec.

The main subculture Marko was positively exposed to in the 90’s was techno, a style he has been practising for almost two decades now. As he was performing within and outside the Croatian borders, Volster gradually started experimenting and developing his signature textured sound leading him to sing and publish his work across his own labels and others such as Edit Select, @Vakum-Records and @northallsenrecords to name a few. 

To this day, Volster has performed all across Europe ranging from clubs to festivals like Dimensions Festival and Modem Festival which brought him to his most notable appearance and debut performance at @berghain in September 2019.

For our 80th episode, SHE/HER joins the series, an upcoming 22-year old female techno DJ based in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. 

SHE/HER started DJ'ing during the COVID-lockdown. For this reason she felt inspired by various Dutch illegal and underground rave communities. These scenes made her sound shift from hard kicks and trancey tracks to a blend of hard, funky and groovy rhythms. Although quite the shift in music taste has already been made, she believes this will never stop changing. That’s why SHE/HER will always be eager to learn and be inspired more by our beautiful techno scene.
