DGTL Records marks its fifth anniversary in style with brand new album ‘5YRS of DGTL Records’. The 14-track long player is released on April 16th as a 4x 12” vinyl set and drops digitally across 4 separate EP releases between February 18 and April 1, of which the third one features Adriatique, Roman Flügel and Nicky Elisabeth. All three make their debut on the imprint.

5YRS of DGTL Records is a perfect reflection of not just of the label itself but also its global event patron: headliners sitting equally alongside local talent and up-and-coming acts. Over the past five years, DGTL Records has grown into its own as a fully-fledged musical arm of the overall DGTL musical experience.

Adriatique (@adriatique) ramps up the third release with the uplifting and progressive track, ‘Arcade Mode’. A constant drive is layered throughout the track supported by deep kicks, warm synths and soothing sound design, ‘Arcade Mode’ delivers you a sense of enlightenment and freedom.
Roman Flügel (@roman-fluegel) brings in the sun with ‘The Mass’. Tribal elements are found throughout, from the jumpy drum patterns to springy synths, which helps deliver this sense of optimism even further, embodying a truly warm summer song. 
To close the third release Nicky Elisabeth (@nicky-elisabeth) delivers ‘Into Your Arms’, riddled with a sense of nostalgia, yet also hopefulness. With soothing vocals and warm percussions throughout the track, lose yourself to memories of the past as breakcore drum patterns and bouncy kicks take you by surprise.

Fellow Hamburg artist and long time friends of Diynamic, Digitalism, now bring their first full EP to the label. Aptly titled „Diytalism“, the duo deliver three tracks and showcase their multifarious production skills.
Opening track „Picnic“ is an emotional rollercoaster ride, colored in sincerity and grandeur. A modern tale of longing and the lunacy of heartbreak.
„Midnight Zone“ is high-octane gasoline; it’s the adrenaline rush on a wild night out; it’s pitch black leather, smashed glasses and flashing strobe light in a Paris night club.
And closing off the „Diytalism“ EP is „Easybox“, a hypnotic tune for after hour dance floor rituals.

After two contributions to Diynamic’s Four To The Floor series (Editions 10 and 17), Italian duo gizA djs are now releasing their first full EP on Diynamic titled „Acid Afternoon“.
The melancholia of the opening track „In The Sun“ is like running towards the sunset, trying to obviate its descent, when you know you should rather just halt and enjoy the warmth of its last rays. 
„Rise“ is a slowly building and heartfelt dance floor affair. Its trippy arpeggiator is accompanying you while you fall deeper down the rabbit hole. 
„Reload“ is a stopover on the journey. Glance around and feel it all: your heart is pounding, the colors never shone brighter, and your tour guide is pointing out all the places where you can find spiritual enlightenment.
And title track „Acid Afternoon“ is the story’s centerpiece: All engines are go and fuzziness fills the room. Don’t look too far ahead, just focus on the now.

Over the last ten years the pair of David López and Carlos Cruz have really excelled with their emotive and stylish sounds and now their Iraila EP is their fourth single release on Bedrock.

Iraila opens up with deep rolling grooves and scintillating chords. They are layered up over the drums and bring a sense of spiritual awakening that will make a truly impressive impact in the club when the whole thing finally peaks. Motorstellar sinks into an equally deep vibe with more smooth drums and icy percussion. Another smart breakdown gets the hairs standing on end before the tune carries you away once more.

Öona Dahl delivers her debut EP on Watergate, continuing her fruitful partnership with Dance Spirit along the way.

Last year’s memorable WhoMadeWho compilation saw Öona Dahl drop her first musical contribution on Watergate, collaborating with Dance Spirit for ‘Break The Stillness’, one of the highlights of the mix. The New York producer, DJ and sound designer, has cultivated a curious and evocative sound going back almost a decade, releasing quality cuts on Anjunadeep, Hallucienda (home to her 2017 album ‘Hollograma’) and All Day I Dream, where she has become a regular at Lee Burridge’s iconic party series.

‘Godtripper’ is a transcendental trip through psychedelic house tones, elevated by Dahl’s own breathy vocal and subtle swells of acid and a smooth melody line. Patrice Bäumel adds a delicious re-work built around a superb bass melody that builds to a crescendo, as layer-upon-layer reveals itself throughout. Dahl links with Dance Spirit for ‘Manic Space’, led by a delicate layer of tribal drums and a meandering melody line, crafted for sundown moments. ‘Universe Within You’ is one for the after hours, wrapped in a minimal shell it unfurls gradually into a glowing late morning house gem, resplendent in golden synths and groovy drums.
