Trentemøller (@trentemusic) is, most probably, my favorite non-dnb producer ever. The love and the feeling he puts into his music is so tangible it’s insane. He’s one of those artists that really lets us see into his soul through his music (not to mention his production skills). ’Miss You’ is a song that fully encapsulates this. It’s so raw, so honest, and it just feels really touching and special to me as a work of art. If you don’t know it, I strongly recommend you to go and listen to it now.

Even though the song is written at a quite slower tempo, I have often played it in my sets, to change the vibe and bring some emotion to the floor, and it works beautifully. Eventually I decided to rework the song into DnB, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the result. It has been truly beautiful to work with these sounds and to be able to add by touch to it.
