Petrichor marks our first release of the year and a very special one for us.   The title track Petrichor unfolds in a downtempo space, shaped by organic textures and quiet tension, capturing that suspended moment just before release. Aaron gently lifts the energy, bringing a more uptempo flow while keeping the same warmth, depth, and understated groove.   Rather than chasing peaks, these two tracks breathe and evolve, shifting naturally from stillness to motion.  We’re excited to welcome King Ben back and to open the year with a release that sets a deep, thoughtful tone for what’s to come.

Visionary producer Ilija Rudman confidently lands into the Black Jukebox catalogue with a truly mesmeric 2-tracker.
Based in Zagreb, Ilija has carved a legacy over more than two decades in the game throughout which he's released over 100 vinyl EPs and 8 studio albums, collaborating with the likes of Robert Owens, Greg Wilson, Faze Action and Ron Trent.
'Euphonia' opens up with a suave slice that melds deep Detroit shades with the flexible Electro funk of Morgan Geist and Clatterbox. A sawtooth bass climbs steps in the low end while gorgeous synths bend and glide at the groove's core. Crisp, delicate drums kick, snap and shuffle as they guide a low-slung, retro-futuristic trip to the moon.
'Late Checkout' draws for a similar sound palette as rich analogue pads form a magic carpet for Prelude-era synth phrases and another sneaking bass line. The tone is elegant and nothing feels forced as Ilija Rudman traverses the vast sonic territory between Salsoul-era Disco and modern Electro-funk in the most fluent and stylish manner.

Der gebürtige Bückeburger Keven, welcher derzeit in Köln lebt, fing wie viele schon früh an sich musikalisch auszuleben , sei es beim ausprobieren allerlei Instrumente sowie beim scratchen auf Papas Plattenspieler. Was noch lange nicht als aussergewöhnlich scheint. 
Er ist in der Mitte der 80er geboren als die Techno und House Bewegung ihren Höhepunkt erreichte.

Dabei wurde er von Hip-Hop & House Musik der 90er Jahre beeinflusst. 
Die andere Hälfte zog es mehr zu melodischen Klängen und europäisch basierten Techno.
Die Harmonie zwischen dem Auflegen, Performen und dem unmittelbaren Kontakt zu dem Publikum macht einen guten DJ zu einem ´´besseren´´ Dj.

Der Kölner Dj hat ein Gefühl für das Clubbing, Tanzwütige und alle andern, für die Musik viel mehr ist als nur ein Wort.
Er liebt es verschiedene Styles miteinander zu kombinieren um seine Sets noch intensiver, abwechslungsreicher und aussergewöhnlicher zu machen. Man könnte es fast schon als poetisch bezeichnen, zu vergleichen mit einer aufregenden Geschichte.
