This new quintet is called 'Palooka' (website under construction)

We are currently working on a a debut recording, and the mixes of the tunes we did in early November 2010 are currently being worked on.
I have attached a promo video below of a recent performance that we did in JJ Smyths in Dublin, after our recording session. I can also
forward on some mp3's of some of the music we recorded last year.

Palooka is not primarily a jazz group; its music is influenced by funk/pop song structures with an improvisational element. The band features superb young improvising musicians from Australia, Britain, Norway and Ireland and its horn section has toured extensively with Phil Collins, Van Morrison, Kylie Minogue and Kyle Eastwood.
