Buddhist prayer machines and Hindu mantra or chanting machines are small plastic boxes resembling transistor radios that play various Buddhist and Hindu prayers and short music loops used for meditation. Found throughout India, China and Tibet, these portable, usually battery-powered, low-fi electronic devices are popular across the region. This mix features samples from these devices and the FM3 Buddha Machine brand, as well as a number of artists who manipulate them to create new sonic textures.

Singer/songwriter who has tried his hand at any genre worth shaking a stick at but at the end of the day likes to write stuff you can sing along to.......
His main claim to fame is appearing on Frank Sidebottom's 'Medium Play' album back in 1990.....his version of 'Planet Earth' was done in operatic style & was concluded with a belch at the end of it. Thankfully for Duran Duran & the rest of the world it only lasts 58 seconds
