Kevin McGarry is a singer-songwriter and history teacher from Los Angeles, CA. THE WORLD MIGHT EP is his first solo record. The six-track record was produced by Yohei Shikano (of the LA-based band, “My Hawaii”) and Kevin’s twin brother and musical collaborator, Casey McGarry. The record is a unique, stripped-down brand of California-bred folk music. With inspiration ranging from Jackson Browne to the Tallest Man on Earth to Nick Drake to Neutral Milk Hotel, THE WORLD MIGHT can best be described as a profoundly moving 26 minutes of introspective, lyrically-driven folk music; a harkening back to the raw feel and sound of the singer-songwriter movement of the sixties and seventies.
