With a nod to 1970s jazz funk greats the inspirational and humanitarian musings of the enigmatic Bruce Lee are backed by breakbeats, bass, guitar, shakers, 3 piece horn section and a haunting vibraphone melody. All recorded using real live instruments and in order to preserve a natural groove no click track was used during the recording.

On May 22, 2014 Dave Rowntree of Blur made it his record of the week on XFM calling it "so interesting, so original." Both Don Letts and Gideon Coe have been spinning it on BBC 6 Music along with WFUV's Kara Manning in New York and numerous local stations across the UK.

Be Water My Friend will be issued on new Leeds imprint All My Friends as a split 7” with label mates Invisible Hands &amp; their debut single Just.

All plastic is oil; most paints; all pesticides are made from oil. Everything from toothpaste to toothbrushes is made from oil. There are 7 gallons of oil in every tire. There is nothing anywhere in any combination that will replace the edifice built by fossil fuels… Nothing.

I think it’s fairly certain that the mortal blow of human industrialised civilisation will happen when oil prices spike again and nobody can afford to buy that oil – and everything will just shut down.

The love of money is the route of all evil and it is the love of money which has the potential to exterminate, to render extinct, the entire human race.

You walk toward your fear, you embrace your fear, you don’t try to hedge it. Part of real living as a human being, as a spiritual being, is to embrace and encompass your fear, your love and not run away from anything because that’s the life experience. And its in that richness that I think we find the most beautiful art, the most beautiful music; we find the richness of what the human soul can offer and I see all that richness buried under such bullshit.

The only thing in the world that you and I can possibly change – to give ourselves a chance of survival and to give our children a chance at some kind of human civilised life – is our minds.

We are all collectively – as a species – responsible for what may be the greatest preventable holocaust in the history of planet earth… our own suicide.
