This is what happens when a fellow *finally* gets a chance to play with the articulations in Native Instrument's Kontakt 5 Orchestral suite shortly after watching "Inception."  Is it a little brass-heavy?  Yes, yes it is.  Is it a little heavy handed?  Most certainly.  Did I have fun writing it?  Mostly.  By the time I was done, I kind of wished I could find that virtual marimba player and wring his neck -- also, the percussion needs a little of micromanagement that isn't there yet.  Nevertheless, felt great to kick out a semi-complete track after a long, longer period of hiatus.

Sleet and Ice

Once upon a time, I had time to make series of sounds approximating what humans commonly refer to as "music."  Then I discovered Fruity Loops back when it was still called Fruity Loops.  Then I went insane for a few years.  Now I'm a humdrum software developer in a humdrum corner of the United States.  But I still like making series of sounds approximating human "music" whenever I get the chance!
