It's Thursday and boy are you in for a treat. Olsen is an up and coming producer set to release a new EP on Perfect Motion on the 25th of August. The EP is an elegant assortment of gracious twists and turns as he experiments with the boundaries between modern day jazz, electronics and club sounds. The EP is perhaps one of the most intriguing to emerge this summer and there is a sense of promise in the air. 

Sandboards are a duo from New Zealand with a promising future having already been predicted for success by those Bicep boys. The pair step up with a gorgeous remix of a track titled "Heavy Dreamer" which we can imagine will be played heavily over the next few months. A great all round EP.

Kiasmos mark their return in 2017 with a new 12” EP titled Blurred — available worldwide on October 6th via Erased Tapes.

Since their 2015 Swept EP, the duo have been performing shows extensively across the world. After writing and recording together in their native Iceland this year, the pair will be bringing a glimpse of light to a particularly gloomy time of year as their light sounds are brighter than ever.

This one is about much more than the dancefloor: "Ruler On The Throne" by Budakid is full of ear openers with it's painted synth sounds and the metallic bleeps combined with the warm voice of Siogue. Such an intense statement of deep and electronic music to end and summarize the season. "The Question Is Why" comes much more poppy and combines different musical cultures. It's trippy and melodic and turns into a funk-tinged anthem while the piano is taken you back to the beach. The remix by Kris Davis speaks the language of the club. An electronic romance for your body, filled with a classy bass line and the power of minimalistic sounds. Out end of September on Einmusika.

Since launching in early 2016, the Explorations series returns for its fourth outing. Having previously welcomed artists such as Theo Kottis, Tontario, Modd and Luttrell to the label, ‘Anjunadeep Explorations 04’ introduces more new faces to the family.

Previously one-half of production duo Journeyman, Dom Furlonge makes his debut outing under his new Antic alias with EP opener ‘And I Pray’. Dom showcases his own vocals and distinctive production flair on this quirky club cut.

Our second track brings together the Bath-based duo Kotu and Munich’s Sam Goku on ‘Ascension’, blending a subtle rolling bassline with soaring strings and sparse piano to wonderful effect. A much sought after ID from recent Anjunadeep Editions from James Grant and Dom Donnelly.

Next up is emerging German talent Ben Böhmer with ‘Flug & Fall’. Ben fuses organic elements, vocal chanting and warm melodic grooves in this uplifting number.

Closing the EP, Melbourne’s GMJ and Matter debut with throwback progressive gem ‘Earthless’.

Let’s welcome T.M.A with their debut EP ‚Merlin’ on Voltage Musique! T.M.A are well known for their strong feeling for deep house with a funky touch.
The catchy opener ‚Ector‘ is based on a powerful synth line and a solid groove which you will keep in mind for sure. ‚Madam Mim', the second track, comes up with a wild bassline and a lovely arrangement and atmosphere. The closing track ‚Merlin‘ is perfect to start the day with a smile. Really promising for the morning hours on the dance floor! Go Go!

Shaped by the music his parents listened to in the 80s before continuing his musical journey and diving deep into HipHop, Aaaron then found his way into the electronic music scene. With releases on Defected, Objektivty and now Chapter 24 the Berlin based DJ and producer not only shares uplifting and percussive music with his crowd, but ultimately a groove that undoubtfully must have evolved from his musical past. With his latest remix contribution, 'Disambigua', a track originally from Djuma Soundsystem & Westerby, Aaaron comes up with catchy approach that focuses on the lead arp-sound and is subbed with short vocal snippets which rotate around the chords making his 'Edition' a hypnotic and rhythmic ride through the depths of contemporary House music.

Featuring London-based band Dems’ haunting vocals, the emotive style echoes the shimmering soundscapes of Scene Delete, infused with the innovative flair of a musician currently at the top of his creative game.

‘I’ve been really excited about this record for some time,’ Sasha says. ‘When we originally got the vocal back from Dems I instantly knew it was something special. We just needed to find the right project for it. I’m looking forward to it being part of the new show along with a lot of new material.’
