Alt radio is working platform that wishes to connect artists, collectives and cultural spaces across Africa and the world, spanning many disciplines such as music, film, fashion, visual arts and curation. 

The aim of AR is to put a spotlight onto voices that may otherwise go unheard, showing the beauty in each artist, individually and collectively, through creating an open platform for them to share their work, skills and collaborative practice.  At AR we encourage collaboration across mediums in order to build a strong community with a focus on African cultural production and the rich diversity within the creative arts across the continent.
